Reviewing Interventional Radiology reports and assigning appropriate CPT and ICD10 codes.
Abstracts clinical information from a variety of medical records and assigns appropriate ICD 10 CM and/or CPT codes to patient records according to established procedures. Analyzes, enters and manipulates database, confirms appropriate DRG assignments. Knowledge in ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding required. Reviewing coding denials.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years' general work experience
6 months minimum of coding work experience
Critical Skills:
Interventional Radiology Coding
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
CPC preferred
Detail Oriented
10,000 alpha / numeric keying speed
Computer literate
HS diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands:
Normal office duties

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
