Description
The Metrology Engineer is responsible for ensuring all measuring equipment during the tire building process is calibrated, valid and reliable. The initial challenge for the Metrology Engineer will be supporting the Greenfield launch by developing, implementing and validating all measurement procedures for new equipment installation. The Metrology Engineer reports to the Manager of Quality Management System.
Responsible:
Develops and prepares Control Plan ensuring valid and reliable measurement equipment through tracking scheduled calibration
Conduct required Measurement System Analysis studies, evaluates result, and improves deficient measurement systems including the development of new calibration procedures for new equipment installation
Develop quality core tools for the plant to meet customer requirements
Assure the plant Metrology lab meets all IATF 16949, customer specific and internal requirements
Develop and verify Poke Yoke system in manufacturing
Build work instructions and document calibration procedures
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Two (2) years metrology experience
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Quality Engineering techniques
Strong analytical and proven team oriented problem solving-skills require

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
