The Client Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the business relationship with the customer. The Client Manager ensures that all appropriate resources are available and utilized effectively/efficiently to maximize overall business management services and corporate profitability. The Client Manager develops and maintains positive client relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure client requests are handled appropriately (i.e. within time and budget) while balancing client needs with company profitability. This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a client, either from a financial or services/product standpoint. The position monitors/audits financial, reimbursement and information management services and is responsible for analyzing the billing effectiveness/cash flow and making recommendations to increase productivity and profitability. The Client Manager utilizes their knowledge of the client/business, healthcare practice management and medical billing process/procedures to maximize performance relative to client relationship, client satisfaction, desired survey results and client/company financial performance indicators.
Location: Can work out of the Clinton Township, Michigan office or the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform business relationship tasks as needed
Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of management team
Work on special projects as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
Knowledge of practice management and medical billing practices
Professional presentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years' experience in healthcare practice management or medical billing experience
Education / Training:
Required: 4-year degree in finance/business or related field or equivalent experience
Critical Skills:
5 + years Client Relationship Management and Accounts Receivable Management
Physician Part B billing, collections & coding background
Client facing experience with physicians, physician practice managers and hospital leadership
Knowledge of the fundamentals of physician practice A/R Metrics
Experience presenting to and working with physicians and hospital administration
Self- aware; ability to handle challenging situations effectively with professionalism
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred Skills:
Experience with radiology billing is a plus.
Credentialing experience is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS
Some overnight travel required (typically up to 4 nights a month)
Office Environment
Physical requirements include general office demands

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
