Lab Quality Inspector II
In this role, you will execute quality related testing of raw materials, compounds, and calendered material.
Core Responsibilities
Assure the sampling of mixed compound and calendered material at the required frequency as per the plant Quality Management System (QMS)
Conduct testing of in-process key quality characteristics in accordance with the QMS over-inspection requirements
Record and evaluate test results and report acceptance or rejection in accordance with the QMS using the Continental Lab System
Assure lab compliance to ISO/TS 16949
Laboratory housekeeping - according to 5S principles
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma/GED in a related field
3 years of experience in a lab or manufacturing environment
Good verbal and writing communication
Good attention to detail
Knowledge of tire compound technology
Knowledge of QMS standards (ISO/TS16949, CCC - laboratory scope)
Ability to follow precise written instructions
Strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in tire manufacturing
Associate's Degree in a related field

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
