Quality Auditor

Job Summary
Monitor systems and procedures to measure their effectiveness to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet company objectives
Observe manufacturing processes and work closely with manufacturing supervisor, group lead and other manufacturing personnel during conducting daily audits of manufacturing process, product and policy and perform inspections of product and paperwork to ensure product and process meet all applicable regulations, standards, internal procedures and customer requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Through performance of daily conducted audits:
Observe and monitor manufacturing process to ensure compliance to all applicable regulations and standards, internal procedures and customer-specific requirements
Work closely with manufacturing and quality assurance to monitor, investigate and resolve product quality issues and to ensure compliance to GMP practices and regulatory requirements
Perform review of documentation produced or completed in support of production and/or in the creation of the batch history records to ensure completeness, the integrity of the data and compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), regulations, internal procedures and customer requirements.
Participate in the evaluation and initiation of actions to improve quality performance; provide advocacy for the continued improvements of quality standards
Collect, analyze and report on data about product quality and process efficiencies, corrective or preventive actions taken, and the status thereof
Follow through on all initiated corrective or preventive actions, and, when appropriate, escalate said actions for immediate attention
Support and adhere to all workplace safety laws, regulations, standards and company practices and actively advances a culture of safety
Performs other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Nypro Clinton's business objectives
Education & Experience Requirements
Inspection and auditing experience preferred
High School degree or GED certificate and 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, auditing or related field
Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), safety, and product quality principles
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Possess a high attention to accuracy and detail and strong organizational skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
