Production Manager

Job Summary
Guides, directs and plans (manufacturing, production, assembly/molding) operations to achieve product fulfillment, quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and safety at the lowest possible cost. Develops through team members: operating procedures, major schedules, and task assignments. Determines fiscal requirements within budgetary constraints, recommends capital improvements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Drives continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
Assesss the adequacy of data gathering methods utilized by the workcells.
Assures that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
Establishes production policies and procedures consistent with corporate and plant policies.
Accountable for proactively pursuing and implementing cost reduction strategies and activities
Oversees the planning, supervision, coordination, analysis and reporting of all production activities
Recommends capital improvements by identifying major facility and equipment need, monitors technological changes in industry to ensure company maintains cutting edge productivity
Ensures that the Production team is adequately staffed and trained.
Enforces safety rules and regulations designed to create and maintain a safe working environment
Apply and support Lean Manufacturing principles.
Responsible for the employment cycle, performance and compensation management, and training and development for assigned direct reports
Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Five years experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
