Clinical Supervisor

Supervises and provides leadership to all clinical staff and oversees all clinical services.
Give recommendations on firing and firing of all clinical personnel.
Supervision and scheduling of clinical personnel as directed by the Site Administrator.
Maintain accurate documentation regarding supervised staff.
Verify and approve hours worked for employees and submit information to the payroll person in a timely manner.
Develop, implement and evaluate all program activities.
Monitor all treatment program admissions and discharges.
Distribute/collect treatment satisfaction surveys at beginning of treatment, mid-treatment and at discharge.
Provide clinical direction and leadership to all personnel.
Assure timely, accurate and adequate recording keeping and monitor/evaluate records.
Liaison between Clinical, Medical, Monitoring, and Food Service Departments.
Coordinate services with community and health care agencies to provide a continuum of care.
Respond to all program emergencies as necessary following all Harbor Light approved policies and procedures.
Represent The Harbor Light in community functions and committees as directed by the Site Administrator.
Provide for the day-to-day operations of the site in the absence of the Site Administrator.
Conduct staff meetings and clinical case conferences/case reviews
Serve as a leader of the Quality Improvement Committee
Serve as a leader of the Indicators and Record Review Committee
Participate in recipient rights grievances
Understand and work within The Salvation Army and Harbor Light Mission Statements.
Possess an excellent working knowledge of The Harbor Light Policies and Procedures
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
HIPAA - Level 1 access to Clinical Records
Master's degree in the Behavioral Science field with a clinical application (i.e.; Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology).
Must possess two years of Clinical Supervisor experience.
Appropriate MCBAP Clinical Supervisor Credentialing (CCA-R).
Must possess MCBAP Addiction Counselor Certification (CAAC, IC&RC).
Appropriate State License (LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, ACSW)
Minimum two (2) years experience working in the field of substance abuse
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, and Email
Experience using Electronic Medical Records systems preferred
Valid Michigan Chauffeur License and approved by The Salvation Army MVR
TB Test and police clearance required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
