Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer supports manufacturing and project engineering processes site wide including injection molding, tooling and automated assembly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supports all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
The Manufacturing Engineer will support commercially launched assets across the customer base.
Take responsibility for leading and driving problem definition, root cause investigations and corrective actions to support Operations escalated issues impacting OTIF.
Works with Operations to trouble-shoot problems, upgrades, retrofits, set-ups, methods development, and the development of process parameters to resolution.
Populates dashboard and monitors asset performance and identifies opportunities to improve OEE and reduce overall manufacturing cost in the business.
Communicate the status of projects under their responsibility in a clear and concise manner to all stakeholders including customers.
Be able to critically consider across molding, assembly & test where in the manufacturing system the corrective action needs to be implemented to permanently resolve issues in a cost effective and robust engineering manner.
Work with WCM & Supply Chain to understand validation requirements to support ongoing commercial needs and drive & coordinate validation activities.
Promote, support and drive the use of lean and continuous improvement principles.
Comply with all corporate safety, environmental and quality policies.
Understanding of Nypro Lean Six Sigma tools, projects and processes and ability to incorporate these into assigned engineering projects.
Ensures projects are compliant with all local, regional, and national regulatory requirements, codes and controls.
Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.
Education & Experience Requirements
BSc, Engineering Degree or equivalent
Lean Bronze certification or working towards certification
4-6 Years of related Engineering experience
Understands in detail process control / capability and detailed understanding of various manufacturing techniques for medical device manufacturing
Strong knowledge of engineering theories, design principles, practices and project management.
Strong knowledge of change control & validation approaches for mold tooling, automation & test methods.
Strong analytical skills, driving decisions based on data, use of Minitab or other tools
Demonstrated ability to lead projects/teams to support site and business goals.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
